     Until I finished Fan Girl, no Filipino film had struggles with and left me in inner pain. For one thing, it's a film deserving of the excitement. Since last year, director Antoinette Jadaone (of Six Degrees of Separation from Lillia Cuntapay and That Thing Called Tadhana) has announced that she is working on a film about fangirling, with Paulo Avelino playing himself as an idol.

     Fan Girl was released a few months before and made it to the Tokyo International Film Festival, garnering positive reviews. Though ironic, I was still happy that the film enjoys online streams for the Metro Manila Film Festival.The trailer has the potential to amuse the interest and excitement of any movie critic.
